• Journal entries you create within the app. These entries are associated with your account and are not visible to other users.

• Device information (model, operating system, unique device identifiers)
• App usage data (screens visited, features used, session duration)
• Crash reports, diagnostic logs, and performance data
• Push notification tokens and related device identifiers used to deliver periodic mindfulness check-in notifications
• Subscription and purchase status information required to manage premium access and restore requests

c) Optional Data

• Notification preferences
• Local app data stored on your device to display daily quotes and widget content on your Home and Lock screens
• Subscription or purchase status (if applicable via App Store / Google Play or managed via RevenueCat)

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate user accounts and manage profiles
• Process account deletion requests
• Improve app performance and user experience
• Personalize content, themes, and features
• Send important updates or mindfulness check-in notifications

• Display daily quote on widgets

3. We Do NOT Sell Your Data

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We may share data only with trusted service providers strictly necessary to operate the App, as described below.

4. Third-Party Service Providers & Data Collection

To provide our services, AuraShine integrates with trusted third-party providers who process data in accordance with strict privacy standards.

1. Supabase (Authentication & Database): We use Supabase to authenticate user accounts, including Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In, store user profiles, saved favorites, and process account deletion requests.
2. Firebase by Google (Crashlytics & Cloud Messaging):
   • Crashlytics: Collects diagnostic crash reports, error logs, and user identifiers to diagnose and fix app crashes.
   • Cloud Messaging (FCM / APNs): Collects device push tokens solely to deliver periodic mindfulness check-in notifications for users inactive for 5+ days.
3. RevenueCat (In-App Purchases & Subscriptions):RevenueCat manages and validates premium subscription purchases and restore requests through Apple’s StoreKit.
4. Device Storage & Home Screen Widgets: We store daily quote text and subscription status locally on your device via shared app groups to display widgets on your Home and Lock screens. This data remains on your device and is wiped immediately upon account sign-out.
5. Account Deletion: Users can permanently delete their account and associated data directly within the app at any time via Settings > Profile > Delete Account.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

AuraShine is not intended for children under the age of 13.

7. Your Choices

• Disable notifications through device settings
• Uninstall the app to stop all data collection
• Contact us to request data deletion

8. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary to provide services or comply with legal obligations.
